Kyushu office expansion to further strengthen its customer support

Oyama, Tochigi; July 3, 2024, Gigaphoton Inc. (Head Office: Oyama, Tochigi; President and CEO: Tatsuo Enami), a manufacturer of lightsources for semiconductor lithography, announced that it has decided to relocate their Kyushu office to enhance its support capacity. Today, a groundbreaking ceremony was held.

Gigaphoton has been providing support to customers in Kyushu area since opening a support office in 2000. In response to the growing investments in the semiconductor industry in Kyushu area, Gigaphoton has decided to expand its Kyushu office to ensure even more reliable support.

Upon completion of this new office, the support capacity in the area will expand to approximately three times its current capacity. The new Kyushu office will be a two-story building with a total floor area of 1,112.66 square meters and is scheduled to be completed in June 2025.
